Simply-debrid: Fast debrid with simple hosters offer
The word debrid is French, the same as the founders of Simply-Debrid. This muli-hosting company allows its users to download from more than 30 hosters including Datafilehost, Scribd and others.
Their man page greets you in pastel colours and it comes in seven different language versions.
Simply-debrid works fine in cooperation with Internet Download Manager, JDownloader or Free download manager. When you get a premium membership, all this is unlimited.
Freemium version that is free for a reason
Simply-Debrid also offers a free version but be aware – almost no hosters work, the size is limited to 300 MB and the download speed got stuck fifteen years ago.
If you decide to upgrade to premium membership, you can pay using all sorts of modern-world methods such as Mastercard, JCB, VPAY, CB network cards, AMEX, Electron, Maestro, Hipay Wallet, Sofort, KBC /CBC, Belfius, MultiBanco, ING HomePay and others.
But what exactly are you paying for?
Mediafire, Sendspace, Solidfiles…and what else?
Except for Mediafire and few others, there is no other major file host supported. Yes, there are more than 30 hosters at your disposal with Simply-Debrid, yet most of them are smaller unknown services such as Calaméo or Hulkshare.
The premium speed is good. If you reach it. The number of failed hosters drops significantly after the upgrade, but some stay unavailable.
The tech support is not very responsive, so sorting out any issues is not comfortable at all.
Design and pricing
If you’re not sure if the hoster offer is sufficient or any other doubts why not to purchase Simply-debrid, you can try it for mere 2,50 EUR for two weeks. That is the price of a croissant and not a bad deal at all.
If you’re satisfied with their services, you can choose a longer plan that is even cheaper. 30, 60, 90 and 180 days where the longest subscription plan costs less than 16 EUR.
The design is a bit infantile, but it’s not an insult to good taste. Everything is roughly where you would expect it to be and the whole layout is simple and functional. Their web is responsive so it runs well on all sorts of mobile phones including an old Blackberry with old BB OS.
Simply-debrid.com works ok and is one of the cheapest around. Design and layout are sufficient. What makes it a questionable investment is the fact, that most hosters supported are small, unknown services with not that many files and the fact, that it does not work flawlessly.
